Optimizing Village Tourism through Women’s Empowerment with a Green Economy Activities for Economic Sustainability in Lerep Village, a community services activitity was help on July 26, 2025. This activity was expected to achieve family well-being while maintaining the balance of the surrounding ecosystem.
This activity began with socialization on sustainable consumption and an energy-efficient lifestyle, by reducing the consumption of unnecessary goods and services, choosing environmentally friendly products, conserving household energy consumption, and conserving water. This activity then provided education on the 3Rs (Recycling and Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Ir. Joko Mariyono, Ph.D., stated that the benefit of this SDGs-based community service activity was to support Lerep Tourism Village to become a Green Economy-based area. Joko added that the implementation of green economy activities or green economy concepts will certainly create a healthier environment, preserve ecosystems and natural resources, reduce waste, and increase food security.
