Master Program in Agribusiness, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (FPP UNDIP) held a webinar about Scientific Publication and Writing Assistance with keynote speaker, Hery Toiba, Ph.D. from Brawijaya University. This activity was held on October 27 2022 via Zoom Meeting.The tittle of his presentation conveyed about “Tips and Tricks for Writing Scientific Publications.” According to Hery Ph.D., before carrying out a publication, an author must understand the purpose of writing the article. In addition, it is also necessary to understand the standards (including author guidelines and templates), as well as tricks and strategies. Furthermore, Hery Toiba also stated that articles originating from master thesis should be focused on the discussion. The articles to be published do not copy the content in a thesis, rather choose one of the problem statement that represents the ideas in the master thesis.”Thesis generally discusses two or three problem formulations, then choose one problem to be published based on your thesis discussion,” he explained. According to the Head of Study Program in Agribusiness Masster Program, Siwi Gayatri, Ph.D, this activity is expected to provide ideas for students in the successful of scientific publication from their final project and increase publication opportunities in international reputable scientific journals.
