Agribusiness Master Program, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (FPP UNDIP) on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025, held a public lecture entitled “Business Synergy for Food, Energy and Water Security”. It was presenting by Dr. Irwanda Wisnu Wardhana, Head of the Research Center for Cooperatives, Corporations and Community Welfare from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN.

This event was attended by the Dean, Prof Sugiharto, along with Vice Deans, Head of the Agribusiness Masters Program, lecturers, and attended by more than 100 students who enthusiastically listened to the topic. In his presentation, Irwanda explained the importance of collaboration between business entities, government and society in maintaining food, energy and water security. He highlighted global challenges such as increasing world population, climate change, and resource scarcity, which demand an approach based on innovation and synergy between stakeholders.

The Dean of FPP UNDIP, Prof. Sugiharto, in his speech appreciated this public lecture as an opportunity for students to understand industrial dynamics and food security challenges in the future. Furthermore, the Head of Agribusiness Masters Program, FPP UNDIP, Siwi Gayatri, Ph.D., stated that this public lecture was a form commitment to strengthening students’ insight into global challenges and food security.

This event also closed with the signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro and the Research Center for Cooperatives, Corporations and Community Welfare from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). This collaboration activity is a form of commitment to strengthening students’ insight into global challenges and building academic networks with research institutions and industry.
