Wednesday, May 29 2024, at 9.00-12.00 WIB, a Public Lecture was held by Agribusiness Master’s Program FPP UNDIP at RSG Gd. F Floor 2. The resource person for this activity was Muhammad Saifulloh, S.E., M.Si., Assistant Deputy for Food, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. The theme of the public lecture was: “Food Supply and Price Stabilization Policy”
Saifulloh stated that the stabilization of food supply and prices was carried out to protect the income and bargaining position for farmers, and micro and small food businesses, as well as to maintain consumers’ affordability of staple foods. The strategies undertaken are strengthening the national logistics system, stabilizing food prices for producers and consumers, expanding access to information on food availability, supply and prices, and strengthening inclusive food institutions.
This event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Sugiharto, and moderated by the Head of the Master Program in Agribusiness, Siwi Gayatri, Ph.D. This event is expected to bridge further collaboration by preparing students for internships and research. This received a good response from students with the opportunity to do internships regarding national food issues
