The Elected leader of Gunungkidul Regency, Endah Subekti Kuntariningsih, successfully completed her master’s education on February 6th, 2024 and was declared a graduate degree from the Master’s Program in Agribusiness, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University (FPP UNDIP). Endah stated that she decided to specialize in agribusiness because she wanted to raise the agricultural potential in Gunungkidul Regency and hoped to be able to apply her knowledge for the advancement of agriculture in Gunungkidul. Endah added that there are many agricultural commodities in Gunungkidul whose productivity needs to be increased, such as: cassava, corn, beans. In accordance with her vision and mission, Endah hopes that the learning process at Agribusiness Study Program UNDIP FPP can be implemented in Gungkidul.
Siwi Gayatri, Ph.D., Head of the Agribusiness Masters Study Program, stated that she was very proud of the achievements from one of her students and hoped that the knowledge Endah had gained from UNDIP could encourage the implementation of policies on agriculture, especially improving the welfare of farmers in Gunungkidul.
