FPP UNDIP collaborates with Farmhill for the management of Green House Melon in order to support curriculum “Merdeka”.
Melon has a great demand in consumer level. Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Universitas Diponegoro has formed a partnership with Farm Hill, a leading agricultural company, to develop melon production in a sustainable greenhouse. Greenhouse or greenhouse is a structure that allows farmers to control the environment for growing plants, such as temperature, humidity, and light.
This method has proven to be effective in increasing crop productivity and quality, as well as reducing risks from external environmental factors such as pests, diseases or climate change. FPP Undip will provide their knowledge and expertise in agriculture, while Farm Hill will provide their resources and experience in operating greenhouses efficiently. The main objective of this collaboration is to increase melon production in greenhouses by taking into account the principles of sustainability.
