The Indonesian Animal Husbandry Socio-Economic Association (PERSEPSI) held the inauguration of the new Regional Commissariat officials for the period 2023 – 2026. It took place in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Animal Science, Gadjah Mada University.
Based on the Persepsi decree number 005/PP-PERSEPSI/2023 concerning the ratification of the personnel composition of the Semarang regional commission management for the 2023 – 2026 period, Agus Setiadi, Ph.D. as chairman, Kadhung Prayoga, S.P., M.P. as secretary, and Siwi Gayatri, Ph.D. as treasurer.
PERSEPSI is a forum for Animal Husbandry Socioeconomic scientists spread throughout Indonesia, consisting of graduates or Masters students, lecturers, and researchers. The association chaired by Prof. Budi Guntoro (Dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry UGM). It aims to realize the real contribution of Indonesian animal husbandry socio-economic scientists.
PERSEPSI is expected to increasingly support the role of the socio-economic field of livestock, not only as a supporting sector. The socio-economic field of animal husbandry is very important because it is one of the pillars of the field of animal husbandry that must be studied, because it discusses more deeply about managerial systems, discusses policies, also discusses finances, and professional organizations.
