The Faculty of Animal and Agriculture Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (FPP Undip) Semarang provides assistance to the community in Tampingwianrno Village, Sukorejo District, Kendal Regency. Mr. Ahmad Sodikin as the head of the village explained the problems that are currently happening in the community, both social and economic. education, and it really need the support of internal and external stakeholders to overcome community problems. Thus, FPP Undip is committed to assisting Tampingwinarno Village in community empowerment activities which are fully supported by the Kendal Regency Agriculture Office. Some of the activities that will be carried out include the empowerment of the Association of Farmers (Gapoktan), the empowerment of Women Farmers Groups (KWT), and activities related to the sustainability of Agribusiness Micro Finance Institutions (LKMA).
In general, this program was designed by FPP Undip to make a real contribution to the nation, especially in developing the welfare and progress of society. Mentoring activities in the form of community service are part of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi or the Threefold of Higher Education. Diponegoro Universities not only carry out education for their students, but also carry out research and develop innovation, as well as preserve and develop knowledge for society. The activity initiated by the Agribusiness Master Program, Department of Agriculture, FPP Undip. It was carried out in a series of accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). Thus this activity is expected to end poverty that still exists in the community.
