Even though Blora Regency’s beef cattle population is the highest in Central Java, the Blora Regency Food, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Service (DP4) in 2021 stated that the service per conception (S/C) data was 1.5 which means that more than 1 mating or artificial insemination is required to produce a pregnancy and conception rate (CR) of 60%, hence, it is important to analyze the functions to determine the influencing factors for success of artificial insemination in beef cattle in Jepon District, Blora Regency.

This was expressed by Musriati, a senior extension agent who successfully defended her thesis at the Undip FPP Agribusiness Study Program. Musriati also managed to get a Cumlaude title. Musriati also provided recommendations regarding the need for education to improve aplication of artificial insemination and the factors that influence its success, especially for farmers and breeders in Palon Village, by involving inseminators, medical/paramedical personnel and agricultural instructors.
