Visiting Professor (Guest Lecturer) is one of Universitas Diponegoro ‘s internationalization programs which aims to present guest lecturers from foreign universities, especially those included in the top 100 by subject/by university in the QS World University Ranking or who have a collaboration agreement with UNDIP. The Visiting Professor Program can be proposed by two or more Study Programs, either under the same Faculty or across Faculties. The output of the Visiting Professor Program is the publication of research with Undip lecturers in reputable international journals indexed by Scopus. The benefit to be achieved in this activity, apart from improving the quality of student education, is to improve the lecturers’ scientific writing skills. This collaboration can also build international academic cooperation and improve the reputation of Universitas Diponegoro. In 2023, Agribusiness study program invited two world-class speakers to joint this activity, namely Prof. Datuk Dr. Mad Nasir Shamsudin from Universiti Putra Malaysia and Prof. Alan Renwick from Lincoln University New Zealand. These two resource persons played a role in conducting lecturer activities, keynote speakers at the International Seminar on Agribusiness, and as external examiners.
