Strengthening financial institutions for the community, especially farmers, is important. The community-based financial institutional program is expected to make access to credit for the community, and is also important for economic improvement. Based on these tidea, the Master Student in Agribusiness successfully defended his thesis entitle: “Analysis of Farmers’ Attitudes towards Interest Subsidy Program in Agricultural Sector as an Effort to Increase Farmer Empowerment in Central Java”. This research also produces recommendations that there are needs to be improved in the future, such as: loan mechanism, providing good service to credit recipients, service and responsiveness to complaints as well as coordination among institution involved in this project.
