The team from Department of Agriculture, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (FPP Undip), will assist Sukoreja Village, especially in increasing human resource capacity in durian cultivation, including aspects of processing of agricultural products in order to avoid decreasing selling prices during harvest time. This will benefit to the farmers in Sukorejo Village to increase their income, while from the consumer side, the community will have choices to buy various processed products from durian in Sukorejo Village.
“We will assist women farmers so they can process their products, thereby avoiding losses and increasing opportunities to get income through product diversification. Appropriate technology, diversification of agricultural products will provide benefits for farmers, the dean of FPP Undip added.
