Implementation of the vision of Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) to become an excelent research university covering various sectors including implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Undip’s efforts to build an environmentally friendly green campus received appreciation from the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2022 as The 2022 2nd Most Sustainable University in Indonesia. UNDIP’s efforts have had an impact on several accesses within UNDIP, such as improving the quality of education, providing clean water and proper sanitation, ensuring the availability of affordable energy, protecting ecosystems and environmental sustainability and strengthening the means of implementing and revitalizing global partnerships for sustainable development.This award is a hat trick for Undip which has won and maintained the 2nd national ranking as the Best Sustainable Higher Education in Indonesia in a row in 2020, 2021 and 2022. In addition, Undip has managed to rank 4th at the Asian level and 4th -29 at the World level in the UI GreenMetric 2022 ranking.UI GreenMetric Ranking is an international campus ranking based on three pillars namely environment, economy, and social with six indicators namely Conditions and Campus Infrastructure (15%), Energy and Climate Change (21%), Waste Management (18%), Water Use ( 10%), Transportation (18%), and Education and Research (18%).
