Reporting from: www.undip.ac.id; Universitas Diponegoro graduated 3,037 alumni at the 169th graduation ceremony for Universitas Diponegoro which was held in 12 stages, starting from 30 January – 3 February 2023 and continuing on 6 February 2023, at the Prof. Soedarto Hall, Undip Tembalang Campus.
In his report Prof. Faisal, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., as Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs said that this graduation was attended by 3,037 graduates, which included 59 Doctoral programs, 323 Masters, 83 Doctor Specialists, 396 Professionals, 2,067 Bachelors, 76 Applied Bachelors and Diploma III (Vocational) 33 people. Up to this graduation period, the number of Undip graduates has reached 247,617 people. Out of a total of 3,037 graduates in this period, 1,593 graduates or 52.45% of them received the cum laude predicate.
“As an effort to contribute to maintaining synergy between Undip and alumni, Undip really expects cooperation from alumni to provide feedback via https://tracerstudy.undip.ac.id. We hope that the graduates will always be successful in pursuing their careers and always become good role models in society. We are truly proud of the academic achievements obtained by the graduates,” said Prof. Faizal.
Meanwhile, from Agribusiness Master Program, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, there were 2 graduates with distinction, namely: Khilmi Nur Kholisoh and Bagus Khoirul Anam. Khilmi Nur Kholisoh’s thesis show that the role of farmer groups as learning classes, collaboration and production units in Mijen District, Semarang City was classified as very good. The productivity of rice farmers has increased after joining farmer groups.
Meanwhile, Bagus Khoirul Anam’s thesis title was: “Financial Analysis, Sustainability Prospects, and Strategies for the Development of Smoked Fish Industry in Demak Regency. Furthermore, Anam recommends: the role relevant government need to be increased to provide training and assistance, especially related to the use of technology and information for the development of fish smoking business.
