SEMARANG – Master of Agribusiness Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture (FPP) Diponegoro University (UNDIP) is a superior study program that chooses an agro-complex that combines the potential of agriculture, animal husbandry, plantations and biological commodities as its scope of study. That way, the students are free to choose the theme of study for their thesis as far as issues related to commodities that originate from the earth are concerned.
Head of the Undip FPP Agribusiness Masters Study Program, Dr. Ir Mukson MS, said the agrocomplex base was chosen because the field of agribusiness is very broad and diverse. In addition to the many types of commodities that are included, each stage in the processing of the results also varies greatly. In the current context for the second strata or master level education, the agro-complex approach is a necessity.
According to Mukson, program organizers are also committed to fully realizing the competencies and achievements of their students. In shaping student competencies, the Undip Agribusiness Masters Study Program continues to improve the productive teaching and learning process with the support of Information and Technology services. In addition, cooperation with universities abroad is also carried out.
Cooperation with foreign universities in addition to supporting Undip’s vision of realizing a World Class University (WCP), the program also leads to International Institutions, one of which is carried out in the DISS (Diponegoro International Student Scholarship) scholarship program. “We are also active in the world professor program which invites well-known experts as research and teaching partners, as well as conducting the Summer Course Program which is held annually for foreign students,” he said.
The Undip Agribusiness Masters Study Program based on the SK BAN PT (1780/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/V/2019) has Accreditation A. In the international arena, currently it has collaborated with reputable institutions and universities such as Aarhus University, IDEA New Zealand, Kasetsart University Bangkok, Chulalongkorn University, and Thunghai University Taiwan. Cooperation includes student exchanges, public lectures, joint research and publication of scientific journals.

Graduates of the Undip Agribusiness Masters degree are entitled to a Master of Agriculture (M.P.) degree. To obtain it, students must complete 1 curriculum package of at least 42 credits (semester credit units) which can be taken in 4 semesters. During lectures, students are required to take part in all lecture activities with a tolerance of 25% of the face-to-face absence or 75% of the face-to-face meeting.
