Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is a learning model that involves students in real-life projects to solve problems in commnity and develop skills. PjBL, a learning program in Master’s Program in Agribusiness at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), was conducted in Sumiran Village, Selo District, Boyolali. This village was one of the tourist villages in Central Java. According to Siwi Gayatri, head of study program, the output of this PjBL was students are required to design a community empowerment program to support the village’s economic potential through tourism activity. This activity was the output for the Community Empowerment Planning and Evaluation course.

According to Dita Indah, a student taking this course, student activities include assisting the community in planning and developing tourist villages, including creating tour packages, promoting and improving the quality of local products, and developing agrotourism based on the village’s agricultural products.

Siwi Gayatri added by implementing PjBL, students not only gain knowledge and skills but also contribute significantly to community empowerment program.
