The Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro University, held a community service activity “Training on Making Goat Milk Yogurt and Packaging” in Mrunten, Kalisidi Village, West Ungaran, Semarang Regency, on Thursday (July 24th).

Twenty-five participants from the Women Farmers Group participated in training on making goat milk yogurt, complete with hygienic and attractive packaging techniques to increase product competitiveness in the market.

Ir. Kustopo Budiraharjo, MP, explained that this training was aim to equip the community with practical skills that can increase added value of local products.

The training material was delivered by Dearestantrianto Hadits Fardana, SPt, MP, who guided the yogurt-making process from raw material selection to the fermentation stage. Meanwhile, Suryani Nur Fadillah, SE, MSi, explained how to pack the products safely, hygiene to support marketing system. Professor Siswanto Imam Santoso stated that this training can support the SDGs on poverty alleviation and gender equality.
