Congratulations to Siwi Gayatri, Head of Master program in Agribusiness Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia’s Meryl Williams Fellowship (MWF) recipients in 2025. Funded by ACIAR, the MWF is a competitive program for women in agricultural research to develop leadership and management capability.

She will join 19 other researchers from ASEAN and Timor-Leste to undertake an intensive professional development program, including a series of regional and Australian-based workshops, mentoring, collaborative assignments, professional activities, and digital engagements.

ACIAR was proud to launch the Meryl Williams Fellowship, a program dedicated to strengthening the leadership skills of women in agricultural research. This new cohort comprises participants from ASEAN countries who came together in Kuala Lumpur for a foundational workshop. Over the next six months, Fellows will participate in a variety of learning activities, including a mentoring program, culminating in a final reflective workshop in Australia.

The Meryl Williams Fellowship (MWF) offers participants the opportunity to engage in professional development through workshops, mentoring, collaborative assignments, and activities both regionally and in Australia. Fellows are supported to build leadership and professional skills, with activities tailored to their individual goals.
