The research activity entitled: Business Entity Synergy for Food, Energy, Water and Air Independence was conducted in Kelurahan Tampirwetan, Kecamatan Candimulyo, Magelang and Kelurahan Samiran, Kecamatan Selo, Boyolali. This research activity was a form of strengthening collaboration and research networks between the two institutions (National Research and Innovation Agency- (BRIN and Universitas Diponegoro-UNDIP), in line with efforts to develop innovation in the agricultural sector.
Head of the Agribusiness Masters Program as well as research member, Siwi Gayatri, explained the importance of collaboration between research institutions and universities. Siwi emphasized the importance of networking in the era of digitalization, where relationships between institutions can trigger new ideas and creative solutions to challenges in the agricultural sector.
“Let’s make this collaboration the first step to develop applicable and sustainable research,” said Siwi.
Dr. Komalawati, a BRIN researcher, stated that this research emphasizes the synergy of BUMDES as a village business entity with the community. This can be realized through various forms of mutually beneficial collaboration, starting from cooperation in business, providing services, increasing capacity and village economic independence. This synergy aims to increase the village’s income, empower the community, and create a sustainable village economic system.
