The Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Animal and Socioeconomic Scientists (PERSEPSI) synergized in efforts to encourage the optimization of livestock products. PERSEPSI held the Workshop on Identifying Inputs for the Revision of the Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Law on Wednesday, in January 3, 2024 at the Harris hotel, Solo. The event was attended by the chairman of PERSEPSI, Prof. Budi Guntoro, and from FPP UNDIP were Prof. Agus Setiadi, Siwi Gayatri, Ph.D., and Annisa Firdausi, M.Si.
This Workshop to respond a letter from the Directorate General of PKH P-21/HK.160/F.1/12/2023 regarding the revision of Law No.18/2009 concerning Animal Husbandry and Health, namely Law No.6/2023. This workshop was a contribution of FPP UNDIP and PERSEPSI to improve national livestock production. The essence of this event was two things, namely: input on the revision of the PKH Law and discussion of PERSEPSI activity plans for 2024.
